Yes...I know the ramifications of writing this. But the reason this controversy has crept in in the first place is that most Churches today have have adopted the big business model and in the process have lost the Original Gospel. In order to gather more people and increase tithing, they have watered down the gospel to keep everyone happy
...and keep those itching ears scratched.
2nd Timothy 4:3-4 - For the time will come when they will not endure †sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and †be turned aside to fables.
But think about this... these business men pastors who do not want to offend anyone is the complete opposite of the Lord Jesus...Jesus, as We all
know offended everyone who did not have "Ears to Hear" and was hated by His own. His herald, John the Baptist, was thought of as crazy for his style of preaching...yet Jesus considered him "the greatest of all Men born of Woman" as recorded in Matthew 11:11.
Yet, the question We all struggle with in modern times is..."can a Christian be Gay"? The danger in answering this question is that it gets too personal. Emotions run high, tempers grow fierce. Maybe we have a Sibling we love who is gay. Maybe Your best friend is Gay.
Understood...But the true answer will always rest in what the Almighty Father will say...What does the Bible say?
The so called Christian establishment authority figures have turned a blind eye to what is clearly written in the Bible. Many of them saying "Who am I to judge" or that the Scriptures are not clear on that subject (the Pope, Joel Osteen, Brian Houston...are some examples of this type of Lukewarm response to this tragic subject). Hmmm... But...Here at True Jesus...We will kindly expose these scriptures to those
willing to read and hear the Truth of what Our Christian faith says!!! So what does the Bible Say You ask? Read on.....
Firstly it all begins with the commandment God gave to the ancient Israelites as recorded in Leviticus:
Leviticus 20:13 -
If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.
They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
~ This viewpoint from the Old Testament is echoed all over the New Testament ~
1st Corinthians 6:9-10 -
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. †Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
There it is Folks, think You can get into Heaven with this lifestyle? You better think again...Lets continue...
1st Timothy 1:9-11 -
knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is ccontrary to sound doctrine, 11according to the glorious gospel of the †blessed God which was †committed to my trust.
Romans 1:26-28 -
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things †which are not fitting;
Jude 1:7 -
as †Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
These cities were destroyed by the Almighty as an example for future kingdoms that embrace this type of lifestyle
So there it is Folks, It does'nt get any clearer than those Scriptures. I know this is much to take and maybe some of You are likely seething...but after reading these scriptures does the term "Gay Christian" even sound right? Can We honestly say that those scriptures would agree with that lifestyle? A behaviour Father God and Our Lord Jesus would find acceptible? The answer is So obvious I wont even say it.
But I do want to remind You that what I write are NOT my words...but the inspired
words of God...whom You say You worship.
These laodicean "Lukewarm" Pastors will have blood on their hands on the Day of Judgement...because "for the love of money"... they had not the courage to speak the truth to their flock...And in the end will be charged with Sending these lost Souls on the path of Eternal damnation.
Need I remind You Dear Friends that We are to stand for What is right? If You as a Christian Soldier... truly care about Your gay aquaintance, would You not tell them the truth? Their Soul will thank You for it. Besides, Our days Here on Earth is
very short but the afterlife ETERNAL, so why not make Your stand and speak what You know in Your heart to be true. God considers Us Christians His watchmen (and watchwomen...of course), If We do NOT do our part, He will hold us accountable...especially if You know the truth. ...and if You've made it this far...You do know it!
