One of the more mis-understood teachings of the Faith is that we end up "Just Like Him". From the beginings of Our infancy as Christians, most of Us will start Our journey with teachings that will limit our growth in Faith.
You've heard it, I've heard it..."No One is perfect", "No one can be like Jesus".
It is like being told by Your parent as a Young Child "You can't do this...You can't do that!, Your not good enough to be that".
Whether or not these statements are told to Us by intent or ignorance is not as important as the fact that it stunts our growth as Christians.
But what did Jesus actually say about this subject...that He expects His followers to be "Just Like Him". Lets take a look...
Matthew 10:24-25
A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25“ It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master.
~How about this One...~
Luke 6:40
A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.
The key thing to understand here is the word "believe" ? This word is the catalyst to being able to achieve this type of high Level of Faith...and this high faith will in turn create the perfection necessary to be like the Master.

Authors Note: While it is true that We may never get to perfection, nonetheless, Jesus sets the target for Us. In short, We have to do Our BEST to reach perfection... With everything that We have.
Modern day Scholars and scoffers (Yes...even Christians) even contradict these words from Our Lord... that this is does not pertain to today's Christians, that this was only possible
during the time of the original apostolic age. ...never realizing that they have created a mindset that will (again...) limit their growth as a Christian. The fact is if You dont believe, then
You are walking in Unbelief. A condition that is very dangerous for a Christian.
John 14:12
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Amazing is'nt it?...that Jesus told his followers, "He who BELIEVES", that not only will His BELIEVERS do the same things that He did but that They will also do GREATER things!!!... Reminder: Jesus words NOT mine
Now...You might Say "Only Jesus is Perfect, this is Heresy... I can't do this"...understood. I once walked that path. You dont have to trust me...but trust what the scriptures say and Not what You've learned by the traditions of Men.
But You have to understand that its already been pre-ordained by Our Lord that John 13:14 - NARROW is the Gate and difficult is the way that leads to eternal life...
and there are Few that find it.
So the decision is up to each and every one of us, whether or not to pay
the price of being one of His Elect. Time is fast...It does matter what LEVEL of Christian You are...and
He will be judging it.
Revelation 3:15-16 - “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither kcold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Yes... There are Levels, understanding this fact and doing ALL YOU CAN to raise it is the difference between...eternal rest and "Gnashing of Teeth" for eternity.
