The Narrow gate...Why You can't cross it

A razor thin runner up to the scariest passage in the bible is the passage in Luke 13:24 and Matthew 7:13-14. As a Christian, It is my duty to exhort (encourage) My fellow brethren, but the tragic reality is that, Only a few will be able to benefit from the encouragement. The reason is that the Christian faith is truly an exclusive membership of those who are willing to count and pay the cost. Lets be honest, not everyone will be able to give up the things that tether You to the world.

The Narrow Gate Vs The World

You see, the world is Your obstacle to getting through that narrow gate. Your job, health, home, and all kinds of interests you love... sports, cars, the stock market, music, travel, and yes...even family and friends, ... all of them, used against You by the enemy to keep You from crossing that gate. ...And the world is full of pastors who will tell You what You want to hear. Pastors who, in order to not offend and keep those tithes coming in will gloss over and subconciously water down the important teachings from Our Lord Jesus. Teachings such as:

Of course, bible scholars and ego driven pastors will scoff at the astute and inquisitive Christian and will say things such as "Thats Your interptretation" or "Its not really what it says". But really folks, how many ways can You interpret, "...He who loves Son or Daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me" ? In many cases throught the new testament bible, the semantics is intuitive to its words.

I suspect this kind of Un-Belief its more a case of, "I can't believe Jesus said that, theres No way i can do that, so i'm going to justify and change the words that He said so i can sleep good tonight and feel better about myself". But isnt that the truth though? You fear that what might be causing You to give 100% of Yourself to Jesus, You might have to give up. This is why You "can't walk through the narrow gate". You cant take what You love in this world with You through that gate. If You attempt to walk through that gate, it will be the hardest thing You will ever do in this life.

Just how thin is thin?

In September of 2021, the Lord spoke something to me that I did not fully understand at the time but now i know to be true. He spoke this to Me... "the majority of the people in the churches will not make it into the kingdom...and I blame the pastors...because they only want to glorify themselves." Over time I just kept focusing on the word "majority". This word made me go back to Luke 13:24...over and over again.

"You may not like what You find"

In Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14c“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

This part tells You everything You need to know about entering into the Kingdom and life eternal. This gate will be hard to find and there are only few who find it. Now...lets follow that up with the account from Luke that magnifies that passage a million fold.

From Luke 13:24 we are told... “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for †many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

So there You have it...Not only will the narrow gate be hard to find...but when You do find it...You realize..."I cant go through it!!!!". How sobering is that! Folks, if that doesnt light a fire right now to go after the Lord Jesus with everything You have...I dont know what will.

This is why the gate is so Narrow! Its even thinner that what we can imagine.

The Little Number of Those Who Are Saved

In early 2023, I saw a video on Youtube based on a 300 year old sermon from a Catholic Friar named Leonard. The sermon is called The Little Number of Those Who Are Saved. The video was mesmerizing and I have since rewatched it at least five times. It had a place in my heart because its message eerily shadowed what I was told in 2021. In that sermon there was a passage "that at the very hour I passed away, thirty-three thousand people also died. Out of this number, Bernard and myself went up to heaven without delay, three went to purgatory, and all the others fell into Hell." His frightening message is that out of 33 thousand only 5 qualified to not get thrown into hell. My emphasis is that the essence of Friar Leonard's message is same as the one I had received in 2021 and it grieved me because I knew in my heart that it was true.

Try to cross the Gate like Your life depends on It

Friends, this is why I'm going after the Lord with everything I have. I urge You to do the same, Today, Right Now!

Don't have one foot in the world and one foot in the door. You wont be able to cross, plus it does'nt work that way. To Jesus, its all or nothing, and we all know he hates the

(the middle ground). Time is so fast that our days will end in the blink of an eye. This world is not a fair trade for our eternal Soul. But after our testing is complete...The life is eternal...Either In Heaven or in hell...
